- e-Gate Enrollment System is owned and operated by National Immigration Agency (hereinafter referred to as NIA) for foreigners to apply for e-Gate.
- The computer system and data of the system are property of NIA. Any unauthorized access, destruction, damage or modification of the system or data is forbidden.
- Anyone who accesses the system consents to use the electronic documents as a means of expression.
- Anyone who accesses the system on behalf of others is regarded as being authorized by the applicant himself/herself. The information provided in this system must be true and complete.
- All applicants are subject to a check of immigration database and other enforcement databases in order to determine the eligibility for e-Gate application.
- According to Personal Information Protection Act and its enforcement rules, NIA should collect, process, and use personal information in this system with proper and safe measures to prevent them from being disclosed, stolen, altered or misused. However, according to Article 28 of Personal Information Protection Act, it does not apply to damage caused by natural disaster, incident, other force majeure or illegal collection from third parties.
